VALLEY LEXUS PARTNERS WITH SALVATION ARMY TO PROVIDE GROCERY BOXES FOR FAMILIES IN NEED

Modesto, CA/November 10, 2023 – Valley Lexus is excited to work with The Salvation Army to fill the pantries of families to address the increasing food insecurity challenges families face throughout our community. Through this partnership, Valley Lexus and the Salvation Army in Modesto will distribute 100 grocery boxes to our community on Saturday, November 18th from 9am to 12pm at our dealership.

The Salvation Army in Modesto is helping identify families in need of food and instructing them to visit the Valley Lexus dealership to pick up their grocery box. Salvation Army volunteers will be stationed in the Valley Lexus Dealership parking lot to check in guests and hand out grocery boxes. Guests will be able to drive into the dealership lot, check in with The Salvation Army, and pick up their grocery box. 

As a business in the community, Valley Lexus understands the need to give back to the communities in which we live and serve. Partnering with The Salvation Army in Modesto aligns with our belief that we are committed to meeting human need without discrimination.

Each grocery box will contain enough non-perishable items like boxes of cereal and canned goods to feed a family of four. Each box will be carefully packed and assembled by Salvation Army staff – ensuring all CDC standards are met for packaging goods.
